Caring for engraved drinkware so it still looks new next year

Hand-wash. Dishwasher detergent is abrasive and hot enough to lift a powder coat at the edges, which is exactly where the engraving is.

Skip anything labelled a scouring cream. A soft cloth and washing-up liquid removes everything that actually needs removing.

Engraved stainless steel is the exception — it has no coating to damage, so the mark is permanent whatever you do to it. It will still pick up scratches on the polish, so store it away from cutlery.

If a lid seal starts to leak, replace the seal rather than the tumbler. Most manufacturers sell them for a couple of dollars.
